Memorial or Special-Occasion Gifts

On occasions when you want to say something special to a family member, friend or associate a gift to the Bazelon Center can be a wonderful way to do it.

A donation to our work can help commemorate happy occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, retirements or graduations or to honor the life of a special person who has passed away. Your contribution can be simple holiday gift to that person who "has everything." Contributions are also a dignified way for individuals, organizations, businesses and groups to honor someone while supporting the Bazelon Center's mission of working to uphold the rights of people with mental disabilities.
When you make such a gift, simply tell us whom to notify. We’ll send a special card with your name, acknowledging the purpose of your gift and including a message you provide. You can even ask us to notify several people. (We do not disclose the amount of your gift.)

Donations to the Bazelon Center are tax-deductible and easy to do:

  • Donate Online: Use our secure form to make a memorial/honor/tribute contribution online now.
  • Mail in Your Donation: If you prefer, you can print a donation form and send it with a check or money order, or write a note listing the name of the person the donation is to honor or memorialize, the occasion (if any), the name and address of the person(s) to whom we should send a card, and any short message you'd like us to write on the card.
