The Pursuit of Justice Endowment Fund was established to perpetuate Judge Bazelon's dedication to equal justice for an historically disenfranchised population – people with mental disabilities.

With the assurance of annual income from the fund, the Bazelon Center can develop and implement long-term strategies for removing the barriers to independence and choice that face these adults and children. Through careful, conservative and principled management of its capital, the Pursuit of Justice Endowment Fund serves as a solid resource to provide ongoing support for the Bazelon Center's advocacy.
