information written in language the general public can understand.
DBSA supports
research to promote more timely diagnosis, develop more effective
and tolerable treatments and discover a cure. The organization works
to
ensure that people living with mood disorders are treated equitably.

corresponding companies that feature patient-assistance programs and

Mental Disability Rights International
(MDRI) is an international non-governmental advocacy organization
dedicated to the recognition and enforcement of the rights of people
with mental
disabilities.
NAPAS (National
Association of Protection & Advocacy Systems) brings together
the network of state agencies protecting the rights of people with
mental
illness or developmental disabilities.
