Staying Together: Preventing Custody Relinquishment for Children's Access to Mental Health Services

The Bazelon Center and the Federation of Families for Children's Mental Health have produced a 32-page guide for family advocates, Staying Together: Preventing Custody Relinquishment for Children's Access to Mental Health Services, available on this site (see below). We urge family organizations and child advocates to use this guide to press for an end to custody relinquishment. Although the text is copyrighted, we encourage families and advocates to copy all or part of it for distribution to policymakers, media and other advocates.
