Stine is the Bazelon Center's principal lobbyist on mental health
policy issues before the U.S. Congress and the federal government.
Prior to joining the Bazelon Center, Stine directed the government
relations and legal advocacy department for Children and Adults
with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorders, the leading national
organization representing children and adults with attention-deficit/hyperactivity
disorder. She has also held several other legislative positions
for national health or disability related organizations, including
the Epilepsy
Foundation and the National Association for Health Underwriters.
Stine holds a Bachelor's degree in psychology from
UCLA,
a Master's degree in psychology from SUNY-Binghamton and a J.D.
from the Washington College of Law at the American University
in
Washington, D.C.
