Chris Koyanagi is responsible for the legislative and policy advocacy agenda of the Bazelon Center. Prior to joining the Bazelon Center, Koyanagi served as Vice President of Government Affairs for the National Association of Mental Health - the nation's oldest and largest nonprofit addressing all aspects of mental health and mental illness. With more than twenty-five years of experience as a government affairs specialist in the mental health and disabilities fields, Koyanagi is one of the nation's leading experts on mental health policy. In addition to her work at the Bazelon Center, she serves on several mental health policy advisory committees and has authored numerous articles and other publications on mental health policy.
