H. Clay Braswell
Director of Development

As the Bazelon Center's Director of Development, Clay Braswell oversees all grant writing, donor solicitation and fundraising activities. Prior to accepting the position, Braswell served as a program officer with the Inland Foundation. He is a graduate of the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University’s graduate program and served as interim manager for the program’s annual fund. Braswell's eclectic career also includes time as case manager for ex-offenders in Virginia and over six years working with the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. Braswell joined the Bazelon Center in August 2002.
