Janet King has been on the staff of the Bazelon Center since 1980. As controller, she is responsible for financial operations, administration of employee benefit programs and supervision of other accounting staff. She brought to the Center her experience as executive assistant to the director of the Citizens Communications Center where she had overall responsibility for financial and investment operations, as a research assistant and operations manager of the DC office of the Grantsmanship Center, and as trainer and evaluator of training programs for Legal Services Corporation attorneys, paralegals and project directors nationwide.
