Leadership 21 > Brian Lombrowski

Brian Lombrowski is currently the Youth Involvement Specialist for the New York State Office of Mental Health – New York City Field Office. He has been involved with the mental health service system as a youth recipient, family member, youth advocate and professional for the past 15 years.

Brian received his BA in psychology from the University of Maryland in the spring of 2002 and received his Masters in Public Policy from the University of Chicago in the spring of 2004. He worked as a math teacher in Grover Cleveland High School as part of the New York City Teaching Fellows Program.

Along with his duties at the NYS Office of Mental Health, Brian currently serves as the co-chair of the Youth Partnership Task Force for the National Wraparound Initiative, as well as the Youth & Family Workgroup for the National Building Bridges Initiative.  He also serves as the president of the Community Alliance for the Ethical Treatment of Youth, a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting the human rights of institutionalized youth.
